Description: Orientalia Lovaniensia Periodica, founded in 1970, is an international journal published by the Department of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Leuven, Belgium. It presents academic research articles on the arts of Asia and North Africa, viz. South, East and South-East Asia, the Near and Middle East, Christian Orient, Egyptology, Arabic and Islam, Byzantine studies, Semitic Languages, Assyriology, Sumerology. Articles are contributed by scholars all over the world in English, French or German. The journal also includes a book reviews section.
